The end of a long and exciting project.
After just over three years working at the Royal Northern College of Music on the British composer Roger Sacheverell Coke, I am delighted to announce that I have submitted my PhD!
During the project I made recordings of Coke's concertos with the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra and Martyn Brabbins, the cello sonatas with Raphael Wallfisch and two discs of solo piano music. I also made new performing editions of several of his works, which will be released by Nimbus Publishing in 2020.
It isn't the end for Coke though, and there are more ideas in the pipeline for coming seasons. Watch this space!
